Introducing the Healing Hub
HCCS is proud to launch The Healing Hub @ Elkin, a transformative school-based mental health program at Lewis Elkin Elementary in Philadelphia, PA.
This trauma-informed, culturally competent initiative is designed to support students, families, and school staff by embedding licensed mental health professionals directly in the school environment.
What It Offers
- Individual and Group Therapy: Tailored mental health support for students to address their unique needs.
- Family Engagement: Collaborative support to strengthen family connections and promote holistic well-being.
- Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Programming:
Evidence-based activities to foster emotional resilience and interpersonal skills. - Staff Consultation: Professional guidance for school personnel to create a supportive, trauma-sensitive environment.
